This Jeep Pickup was parked along my route to the store this morning. I have never seen it before, and it was not there on my way home. The picture was hastily taken through the windshield, so it is not great.

I wish that the new Jeep Gladiator looked more like this. It is not that I dislike the Gladiator - it looks fine – it is just too big for my taste. This Jeep looks like it could maneuver better off-road.

I love those old pickups. One of the few things I might actually sell my current truck for. That, or a wagon version of the same perhaps.

When I was in high school, there were two brothers who lived down the street; and I walked by their house almost every day . Each of them had a 1950s Jeep Woody Panel Wagon. They were in the process of totally res t oring them. The work was slow, but steady. By the time I moved, both vehicles were street ready. I always thought that they were two of the nicest looking vehicles that I had ever seen.

Cool Willys Jeep Truck. ‘ 61-64 based on the 1 piece windshield.

Now, THIS is a classic look.  I never liked the J10 all that much and the recent one just seems like a “What’s the point again” (and based on the inventory piled up on dealer lots, America agrees...).  But, this era?  What a great look.

Yes, you are right. I didn’t notice the one-piece windshield.
